Body Contouring Before & After Guidelines

DOs


  • Drink half of your body weight in OZ of water the day before, the day of, and the day after

  • Eat light meals the day before, the day of, and the day after

  • Strive for at least 30-45 minutes of cardio with in 2 hours following treatment or 10-15 minutes of vibration therapy

  • Follow a healthy diet and work out plan to help accelerate and maintain results

  • Use a body wrap or waist trainer to help mold your curves

  • Please reschedule if you are on your menstrual cycle, on antibiotics, or if treatment area is compromised by an injury, cut, or irritation (Please see cancellation policy)

  • Get in touch with a licensed massage therapist who specializes in lymphatic drainage massage to help keep your lymphatic health on track (Although not mandatory or required, lymphatic drainage massages are recommended before beginning treatments, and every 4-6 treatments after that)



DONTs


  • NO CAFFEINE the day of, LIMITED caffeine the day before, and up to 72 hours after

  • NO ALCOHOL the day before, the day of, and up to 72 hours after

  • Avoid eating 2 hours before treatment, but don't put your body into starvation mode or it will become hesitant to release any stored fats

  • Avoid any blood thinners like aspirin before treatment (please tell your technician if you take fish oil)

  • Avoid using any creams, topicals, and self tanners on the areas being treated



Things To Note:


Unfortunately, body sculpting is not for everyone, and some things may prevent you from being able to book right away-


If any of the following apply to you, you may not be able to receive services:


  • Pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or nursing

  • HIV/AIDS

  • Immunodeficiency, lupus, or tuberculosis

  • Active cancer or less than 5 years in remission

  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immune therapy, or taking any chemo/cancer related pharmaceuticals

  • Photosensitive to sun exposure or currently on any medications that would cause photosensitivity

  • Numb or insensitive to heat

  • Ever undergone an organ transplant

  • Uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure

  • Any kind of heart, liver, or kidney condition

  • Blood clotting condition

  • Cosmetic, metal, or medical implants in the desired treatment area

  • Pacemaker



If any of the following apply to you, you may not be able to book right away:


  • Recent surgery, injury, incision, or scar in desired treatment area (must wait atleast 6 months)

  • Botox in desired treatment area (must wait atleast 3 months)

  • IPL, laser hair removal, or the use of hair removal cream in the desired treatment area (must wait atleast 2 weeks)

  • Dermal fillers in desired treatment area (must wait 2 weeks)

  • Currently taking an antibiotic (must wait until course is completed)

  • Menstral Cycle- avoid treatment with in 48 hours of expected cycle, while on your cycle, and up to 48 hours after your cycle ends.

  • Sunburn in desired treatment area (must wait at least 10 days)

  • Metal implants near the treatment area
